Oh such a pleasant acoustic sound from the duo that call themselves Kings of Convenience. Norwegian Erlend and Eirik’s third album features soft vocals and intertwined acoustic guitars, all craftily put together from soundchecks in big, empty concert halls. ‘Mrs. Cold’ is upbeat and catchy, while ‘Riot on an Empty Street’ is simply beautiful and if possible, wonderfully depressing. This percussion-free melodic album is perfect for an autumn picnic in the woods with your lover. Make sure you use the soft focus lens on your camera whilst she twirls around amongst the falling leaves of orange and yellow.

Since we don’t have many woods here in Hong Kong, why not take your lover to watch them at HITEC on the 25th of March?
