IDN Magazine’s latest side project, IDN Midnight Sessions Extra 02 – Neo York: Anime and Beyond, showcases a range artwork influenced by the anime invasion of the US during the 70s and 80s (Japanimation).
Special delivery from Japan is this collection of post rock without the baggage, or My Bloody Valentine without the headache. In Light is a shimmering collection of mostly instrumental tracks, occasionally accompanied by an ethereal female voice floating through their aural sphere, culminating in the sonic equivalent of a brain massage.
I always look forward to a 9th Wonder album. He has once again teamed up with Murs and come March 30th they drop their latest collaboration titled FORNEVER.

Here at camp brou, we are big fans of Gorillaz. Well at least one of us is.
‘Plastic Beach’, Gorillaz latest album, will be released on Monday 8th March, but it is getting exclusive airtime on Xfm on Tuesday March 2nd at 12pm GMT.
The first Ip Man film was good, but it could have been much better. The teaser for the sequel has been released and looks promising (although that could be said for most teaser trailers). Check it out here.
This trailer for Old Spice was on show at the superbowl this year. Aside from being one of the coolest ads that I have seen for a while, the creative process is also pretty insightful.

The opener, ‘Creeque Allies’, is a jaunty retelling of the WWII French Resistance that sounds like the indie approximation of a Terry Deary ‘Horrible Histories’ book and is the cheeriest song about Nazi occupation you’ll ever hear.
